Oh my god.

It’s really hard to switch from fantasy to non-fantasy. I’m bored. This guy is just doing the same stuff I do on the daily.

After 650 pages of side quests, we finally get to THE battle and it’s multiple POV 😫

I think I’m not as disappointed by this one as most bc I really didn’t enjoy Iron Flame, so this isn’t as much of a let down. It is, however, a lot of filler. Let’s get on with it! 🌩️⚡️🗡️

I unfortunately predicted this plot twist which made this a less thrilling story than I hoped for. Still good though…

The writing is simple but I’m entertained and dying for all of the secrets to be exposed 👀

My suspicion of Chaol’s servant, Kadja, is growing… Kashin too.. but slightly less so.

Love the academic setting of the Torre Cesme and the mysterious Valg presence in a different continent. This one has a similar feel to COM.

Reminding myself that KOA is my reward for enduring 660 pages of Chaol’s perspective.
