This book was truly engaging from the beginning, especially with the Audible narration. I enjoyed the characters and the storyline until about midway through. From there, the plot took an ugly turn and several of the initially likable characters turned venomous in their thirst for revenge. As a reader, I wanted justice, but there were too many blurred lines and too much vindictiveness in this book for me.
