This author's writing style and Kristin Hannah are very similar and likely share a large crossover fan base.

I have the same irritation with both authors: their main character are often extremely ernest, to the point of disbelief. It comes off as veering into insipid territory.

I am pushing myself through the middle of this book and it's getting very slow.

This is not going well...

Unfortunately the audiobook narrator is incredibly irritating to me and I can not recommend this.

At 70% this audio book is still wandering around in the desert.

This plot involves a lot of suspended disbelief.

I've also read her debut novel and this one was better but needed a better editor. It definitely feels like it was trying to capitalize on Nine Perfect Strangers fans.

Very slow... not sure I will get through this one.

Ugh. As a rule, avoid any plot that involves a sorority.
