A truly engrossing read. Very hard to put down. I feel so much for young Bly the narrator. A young girl grown up too fast and longing for childhood.

I was a little worried when I read that this had a 12-year-old girl as the narrator. But I have been engrossed, gripped from the very first paragraph.

This is a gripping read. I struggled with the back-and-forth in the timeline at the beginning. But as everything begins to converge upon itself, it’s impossible to put down. I’m on page 300 and I think I figured it out. We’ll see if I’m right.

Laugh out loud funny at times and wholly forlorn.
