- I hate that twilight referenced this
- I don’t know whether it was Brönte’s goal to piss off her readers but if it was she did a good job, I’m upset
- I love love love the narrative structure though, books about main characters written by everyone EXCEPT the main characters is divine

some highlights/tabs for myself:

- I’m so utterly stressed out and haven’t made a dent in this book… idk if I should pick it back up for a while.
- pg 30: “hommasexshuls” bahahaha
- I’ve heard negative things of everyone’s past except Wendy’s…. She seems good but I’m skeptical
- main character’s name is John… I know the movie memes… aw fuq

gave it another shot… some thoughts so far: Ryland is still annoying but I think I’d prefer that to some stuck up scientist lol AND the science is SO GOOD and stuff I’ve actually done!!!!!!

I’ve never ever cried so hard over such a short book

I take everything back abt this being stressful I love love love this book

This is less stressful as it is refreshingly human- I think taking a break from starting it and reading the first little bit when I did helped

If I had to rate it rn it’s 2/5 stars this is kinda annoying lol

A couple thoughts-
- everyone is cynical and kinda stuck up
- every character has the same sorta autistic feel about them
- I have no idea where this story is going

I forgot you can read the pages again and get a second meaning with how the poem structure is laid out. Clever stuff!!
