i just got through the prologue and the descriptions of the 3 photos was awesome and very descriptive and attentions grabbing that sets up the rest of the book as a story of a man who was never “really human”

i am glad that darrow has had some essential character growth after been stabbed by cassius, i also really like mustangs character she’s filling an essential mentor role for darrow, the fact that this stupid game is rigged doesn’t surprise me and i had a feeling the moment someone mentioned the jackal was the arch governors son like obviously that little bitch will win due to daddy’s power

wow a lot has happened, titus is a dick and takes advantage of women, darrow gains some power and uses it to kill titus but not end him (lets cassius) because he was a red carved to be a gold, which opens the question of how many are there? but honestly i believe the the sons of ares spans greater than is thought so they have multiple candidates to be carved into golds

idk man theos obsession feels a little too creepy and yuri completely admitting he was a peeping tom is insane, theos character is confusing to me he comes off as either a creep with an “i can fix her mentality” or a girls girl but since this book is written by a man it’s def the first, i do love the addition of alicia pov through her diary its amazing

bro this feels like a terrible i can fix her situation and i don’t really like that

So far the book is good, it is interesting and keeps me wanting to read.
