First Book of the Year here we goooo. I'm gonna increase my reading goal to 100 this year. I will also try to really limit it to those 100 books and not go over it🫣, but, we'll see if I change my mind

This book is SO much better written than the other one, everything I complained about in the other one is fixed in this one

I finally felt like reading this book, just spoke to me I guess😂 Okay so far, I am very happy I didnt read this immediately after shatter me, this takes place like I believe, 10 years down the road? I needed this distance to feel like James wasn't a 10 year old kid anymore. I am excited to get back into this series! James is so funny, cracks me up( dare I say, more so than Kenji?!) Also, plot is VERY fcked up

Ah I didn't think I would like this story so much! I'm reading this series before the defender comes out next week! While I truly like the story I also found out it does make me incredibly sad. This is a scenario that actually was supposed to happen for me but didn't. It just wasn't in the cards I guess

Damn.... Can't put it down, it's so good. The plot feels kinda similar to the last book of her I read, which is ironic, since in this book they talk about not wanting the fictional author's new book to be the same as the last😂

So far, I don't get the hype? It's VERY YA and unnecessarily fast paced?

I feel like the narrator is unreliable, it makes me question the whole book😂

This is a bit different from the stuff I usually read, not sure if I like it yet! I read for happy endings, not for the vibes I get from this book, but we shall see!
