ok borderline cried cause— kesegi is so adorable and didn’t deserve being left by his (foster) sister. i was literally sobbing when he said “but you’re my sister,” - she never even bothered to stay in touch…

i hope arlong doesn’t end up like golyn niis—granted, golyn niis was a capital which wasn’t supposed to be invaded, that’s why all their eggs were in one basket at khurdalain last book—arlong at least is a militaristic city, a fortress sort of (then again sinegard was a military capital too…)

qara is so cool— at first i thought the mysterious thing she had going on was kind of cringe, but when we were introduced to her twin brother, chaghan, his power and his larger personality, it totally made sense and fit with her.

kitay is so pure i love him so much; i loved him at first then hated him, then understood him but now i’m back to just loving good old kitay again xx

i’ve always viewed altan and rin’s dynamic (ig ‘relationship’) as so so toxic. it didn’t solidify itself to me in the toxicity at the time, but after—as it so often does.
