Well, we’re progressing much slower now

Blackfeet. Scalping. Elk head.

He writes in a very unique way. It often feels like pages, packed with run on sentences, one thought after another, connected only by commas where a period splitting the thought would have been better and made it easier to understand. It took me a moment to grasp what he was saying and to learn to follow but now that I am, I feel like I’m enjoying the book and even the sentence structures.

Just realized this isn’t a standalone book and isn’t the first in the series. Oops… I guess I keep reading and go back once I’m done.

Love the prose, but most of the story is one action scene after another. Can we insert some character moments, themes, and depth here and there?

I’m just reading to finish it. No other reason.

I might not finish this one. Some of the scenes and Patrick Bateman’s internal dialogue/narration actually makes me feel sick to my stomach just reading it, and I know that’s the point, but it’s still terrible nonetheless.

A little more accessible than I usually like, but the concept is pretty interesting and It’s got me
