This is suffering from middle book of a trilogy syndrome and has me bored but here I am still trucking along cause I'm invested in Rowan and Citra.

20 pages in i was already kind of bored and did not care but here i am halfway through and still dont care and now im confused too. guess i'll just finish it at this point since I bought it, ha. i think im just reading it cause i dont have anything else really to read at the moment during downtimes at work *shrugs* it be like that sometimes

The audiobook for this is lovely as heck and saved me from DNFing this book. Didnt know soooo much about Elton's life at all. It's wild

im enjoying this but his writing is just a bit dry and boring. omg im sorry elton, i love you, but might need to switch this one to listening on audio.

I'm determined to finish this v soon if not by the end of this month cause it is super interesting! It's just a bit dense but when I do read it I enjoy it so much.
Just read a part of amphitheaters and their concert history and growth and was LIVING for it. Red Rocks got mentioned twice so you know I was screaming as it's basically my favorite venue in the world.

The first story, World by Night, is I think my fave of the stories so far. Killer of Kings being my least favorite and the others are good but just good, ya feel? Still enjoying this though

Once again reading a book for a way younger audience as this is a middle grade. But, the commentary on recycling & pollution is great for a young or older reader! After watching the Netflix show Broken & more specifically the recycling episode I'm enjoying delving into this topic more and this book is doing a really nice job so far. Also King's writing is very nice so it makes me want to just read anything of hers.

....still not sure if I like this but I'm basically halfway thru so I guess I'll finish it.

really realllly enjoying the podcast portion and formatting of this and thats what's keeping me engaged in the story but tbh idc about Sadie's chapters

This is a v fast read so far and I'm not sure if I hate it or am enjoying it. The flashbacks make me very uneasy and I kind of hate them but ugh i cant skip them tho cause of the main plot.
What happened to Maggie?! Wtf is up with her husband and the framing?! Okay maybe I am involved.

at first i didnt like that he basically dragged the NPS/Natl. Forest system but it's needed! i didnt realize how much they weren't doing/were doing to not maintain the parks etc. i understand part of it is the extreme lack of funding but they have just been kind of awful in some aspects &it makes me almost not want to visit the parks but at the same time now i want to show patronage to get some funds pumped into them

I am thoroughly confused but incredibly invested in figuring out what the actual hell is going on.
Also there was a Dead reference then two pages later a DMB reference so that was entertaining.

Honestly not sure how I feel about this book so far. Do I dnf one of my most anticipated books of the second half of the year or power thru and waste my time finishing this?!

Like I knew this book was gonna be good but this on some Butterfly Effect type heady shit.
