3 hours and half of reading this book, with about five times crying while imagining Sri Ningsih’s life. The plot was kinda easy to be expected but the writing made it beautiful. I can’t wait to finish this book in one sit or two.

Kinda confused. I might read it again from the start, while I haven’t go far.

I feel like having a free therapy session every time I read this book. Chapters by chapters widen my perspective into something I thought I wouldn’t reach.

The first chapter was full of explanation and evidences about how to waken our steadfastness. It was long and kinda boring, but I hope I will continue to read this.

I supposed to read Anak Semua Bangsa first, but I couldn’t make to read that –maybe, not yet. The feeling of getting involved in the scene is magnificently strong. I could felt how annoying the racism is. Also, the eagerness of Minke to fit in a modern place, is one that I dear most. I fell at the “Tak mau ikut dengan kemajuan? akan ikut terinjak-injak jadi kasut.” I will definitely continue to read this.
