very breezy ready of course, seems to be mostly a streamlining/rebranding of the scp articles which i'm pretty ok with

honestly, it's so good to be back. much as i enjoyed the so called siege trilogy, this is much more what i like from kj parker's longform writing.

i don't necessarily mean this in a negative way, but the writing in this trilogy has reminded me a lot of the flavor text dxv writes for each dominion expansion in that it feels like he's coming up with joke one liners and coming up with the contexts for them after the fact

it's kind of silly to complain about this of all things, but "capische" kind of felt incredibly out of character for the setting lol
