Every character besides the main love interests and maybe the sister only exist to support the romance

Understandable how this slop got popular. I’m not really judging its fans because I don’t think it’s a crime to enjoy escapism. I am the author for committing so many sins. The most egregious is definitely using the diverse characters as props for the white straight main characters, but this book is generally disrespectful to the fantasy genre. I’m surprised it’s so popular, but also not.
