Finished the first book/part of Fellowship of the Rings, and I gotta say I didn’t grasp me as much as The Hobbit. The beginning at the Shire was fun to read and learn about the lore, and new cast of characters are very enjoyable and have good depth. But towards latter half I found myself losing interest. Luckily once Strider joins it picks up and I started to enjoy it more. I’m very excited for book/part 2!
