Het boek heeft me gelijk te pakken. Zeer beeldend geschreven. Na 1 dag al op pag 160.

A bit boring. So i will leave it be.

Iets minder leuk als boek dan als wekelijkse column

Doorwrochte analyse van Spanje, met in elk hoofdstuk een regio centraal. Veel info over cultureel-sociale ontwikkelingen en tradities. Daarnaast erg veel aandacht voor politieke schetsen. Naar mijn smaak was dit laatste te gedetailleerd. Zeker als je het boek, zoals ik, 25 jaar na publicatie leest, zijn de politieke details teveel op de millimeter om nog interessant te zijn. De grote lijn blijft dat zeker wel.
