Continuing my quest to read all of McCarthy's books, this one is a dud so far except for one passage I really enjoyed. Zero plot so far. I have not heard good things about this one or his last book, but the journey must be completed.

Finished Loaves and Fishes, enjoying the sea monster story now. It's not really a novel, but it's George and it's fun.

I'm ready for stuff to start happening again. Enough of Penelope and planning. Jfc

Was craving some George, this is nowhere near as good as some of his latter work, but all the tropes are there and it's fun to see his early stuff. Cooking.
