The sacrifice at Mai Dun has been made, known as Maiden Castle, one of largest hill forts in Europe and but a mere stones throw from my locale.

A few nights off reading..... soooo tired..... so I switched to afternoon read, to make sure I get my quota in!

This is a book Ive had since my late 20's & at the end of every decade I find myself picking it up and having a re-read.... it's one of those 1 rule a day kinda reads.... The majority are kinda ingrained already into you through parenting & schooling in those early years... but I do find it's a solid read & one for reflection at the end of every decade (I hit 60!! earlier this month)

And there goes the Isle of the dead..... Not much has changed I see 😆

Onto part IV..... The Isle of the dead.... More commonly called Portland 😆
