THE DRAMATIZED AUDIOBOOK: What a crazy way to start the book. Really Mustang!? I guess it was his fault but dang. The ceremony was crazy. TORPEDOES!!

I really liked all the rises and falls, as both a leader and a person. The constant loss of “brothers” gets a little more bitter every time. Also, what’s up with that slow burn?

I had to look up Darrow because all I was imagining was red skin to gold skin. Not just a hair and eyes. He looks a little different in my head and I think it’s funnier. But this took a better term than what I thought because I thought it was going to be more like a ‘hunger games’ thing. To beat the enemy is to be the enemy.

I’m shocked. WHY WOULD HIS WIFE DO THAT. I’m on “part 2” and if there’s no explanation of that, imma be real mad for the rest of this book. That was so bs.

This is really sounding like red faction (video game), I’m not sure I like it yet. Also, being compared to Katniss and ender is crazy because I’ve only heard of this book because of how many times they reprint it and how expensive those are.

I started this about a year a couple of months ago and stopped because I found the fourth wing series. That being said, I also stopped reading because they were GLAZING (that’s funny if you know what that means in halo) THESE KIDS ABOUT HOW GOOD THEY WERE. Like dude, i get it, they’re good at what they do at the age of 16 and they’re better than adults but I don’t need to hear it every couple of paragraphs.

Also out of hours, I’mma start paying. My gf said not to but this is driving me crazy.

IM SO CLOSE. I will say, I dislike being back to his world. The more we find out how well off Jason was, the more I think that the author is more of a self insert with his hatred of the rich.

I ran out of hours again. Anyway, it feels sort of weird to leave behind his new found life to “fix” his normal one. I don’t really like there and as much as I think he needs it, I don’t think I really care for his messed up family.

Since I’m being forced to take a break ig I’ll update this. This book so far feels like a big training arc, I’m not against it but it’s a different change of pace from the second one

I also forgot to add that Riddick and sawyer have become some of my favorite side characters. They’re great

HOLY FAN SERVICE. I sometimes forget how old these characters are but then I remember when something happens that I feel like should be way out of their hands. Also, interesting how everyone who stands in the way is slowly not becoming a problem….

I’m getting MAD divergent (the movie) vibes from violet. Unfortunately I really hated those movies. It is nice to see everyone on edge but because of this, I feel like some characters aren’t getting enough spotlight because it’s focused on EVERYONE.

Oh, and I still love his “team” and how they’re leaning into little brother him. I also like how the world has the potential to kill him but because they find him so interesting and his power is interesting, they’re kind of seeing where it goes.

I LOVED CHAPTER 68 SO MUCH. Chapter 67 if you’re reading it. I LOVED how they’re leaning into “should be a bad guy” or “is gonna be a bad guy” because of his powers bit. It’s one of my favorite “story” lines to follow. I also enjoy him being over power but not because of his overwhelming strength but because of his abilities being tractional.

One thing I disliked very early on was that he didn’t know about fantasy stuff but then did at the same time. Like he didn’t know some things but knew others very well. I’ll forgive the menu thing but like “abilities” and things like that, he seemed very ignorant towards but then other things like certain monsters, he knew too much about. I like his group, especially Gary.

Bro, I still have no freaking clue what’s going on. The time jumping, the somehow everything is connected, THE RANDOM MYSTERIES. I think I’m too slow a for this big brain book. I keep having to put it down because it’ll be super interesting to me at one point, then just throw another part of the story into it that I don’t care for. Again, I don’t think book is for me but I admire people who like this.
