I loved it! Absolutely could not put it down! Remarkable characters, a gripping plot, and magic!

I’m really enjoying this one so far! Imagine if T. Kingfisher wrote her own version of howl’s moving castle. I’m digging it!

I’m enjoying this story as an audiobook. Sort of a very light mystery with a dash of cute and fluffy. Maybe some romance in there horizon. Magic takes a bank seat in this story. The plot is taking its sweet time in building. Hasn’t hooked me in yet, but easy listening.

The author has such a talent route weaving together multiple storylines without overwhelming the reader! Not exactly a book that makes you want to curl up by the fire with a cup of tea, but instead I feel like it’s inspiring me to go pursue my happiness, and not get held back by coulda shoulda woulda. I loved it even more than the first book!
