Why does every book by this author have a lame 3rd act breakup? Every.single.book. Not one couple can be mature and just communicate like adults? Grr.

Story ended at 90%. Ugh.

Well, that was anticlimactic.

Now he's challenging his rival to a fight to the death and she comes to tell him to kick ass. Never mind that they've literally known each other 3 days and without him she'll have moved from CO to Cleveland with a baby for nothing....

One night stand results in pregnancy. 1 year later, he returns because he can no longer stay away. But what's this? She's has his baby! Well. That's perfect because she's totally his mate. Because he's a tiger shifter, did he forget to say? Oops. And now she's in danger because of his rivals,but NBD, they can move in with him. Because they're in lurve. After spending literally 2 nights a year apart, having sex. Sigh.

Listening to the audiobook. The first couple chapters were slow, but it's really picking up now. Glad I stuck with it.

DNF. This isn't the book I thought I was getting based on the blurb. I don't care enough for the characters or the story to continue.

Not even halfway through and we've already had 8 POVs. Why do I need all these?? They make no effing sense. Esp the ones from characters who die a chapter later.

I can't believe how much humor there is. I actually laugh-snorted a minute ago. So good! Now I know why Meg was so anxious to get back to her book (since I'm pretty sure this is one of the Crowgard Cozies the Lakeside crew was so obsessed with).

Probably I could have gone my whole life without seeing the term "cunt honey" and been happy. No. Just no.

Instead of lying about how her body reacts to him, why not just be honest? Yea, I'm physically attracted, but that changes nothing. Her whole "I'm not afraid of you. You don't even do it for me" nonsense is insulting to us all.
