This was a fairly surprising good read. I did kind of pick up on at least one twist but the other ones I would have never guessed. Like who knew Mari would be the real storyteller in the end. Although I did not agree with a lot of the characters choices and the ending left me moreee than satisfied.

I listened to this as a audiobook and honestly it was a tough listen. Just hearing everything that the main character went through made my heart ache.
