Completely different mood compared to my last update.
“Soon everyone was standing, clapping the Baptist preacher from the United States of America.”

“Coretta rushed into the bedroom. She and Martin sat side by side on the bed, listening to the awful news that the president was dead. Finally, Martin said very quietly, ‘this is going to happen to me too.’”

“Then came the worst tragedy of all. It was November 22, 1963. Martin was in the upstairs bedroom, packing to go off on a trip. The television was on in the background. Suddenly an emergency news bulletin interrupted the program. For a few stunned seconds Martin just stared at the screen. Then ‘Corrie!’ he shouted. ‘President Kennedy has just been killed!’”

I’m wondering how Carter can be so stupid, how Ethan can be so flip-floppy (so to speak), and how Martin’s gonna agree to keep the secret. Can’t wait to finish soon!

The plot twist! I was getting distracted while reading this chapter, so I put on some music. It was perfect for the cheese sequence. And just as the Zippy Airport Shuttle came across the house, the music ended. It was so perfect. I i’m in so much shock and that’s where I’m leaving off for tonight.

He treated a sloth as if it were a Dynamax Rayquaza.

Starting to like Carter!

I remembered Carter’s name! Woo! Also, I suspected the rotten kid plotline to go somewhere, but I didn’t know where. Seems obvious now that I think of it!

I knew the Zippy Airport Service was up to something, and now I know.

I have reached the mysterious page 108. Something weird is going on. Why is chapter 17 on an odd numbered page?

To be honest, I didn’t like this character before, and while he’s starting to grow on me, and I know it’s true to his character, but the internet thing is really dragging him down for me.

Bookmark left by someone else on pg. 108. Also, as much as I already hated Carter, he’s starting to turn around for me, and I’ll definitely start paying more attention to my surroundings.
