Ughhh parts of this are already pissing me off… but I am also amused enough to keep going.

I am so invested

So far this is 5/5 stars for me. IDK why I like it so much when it has so many things that I would typically criticize but somehow I feel like its done so well. I don't care if my rating system is inconsistent I love this book so far and might immediately reread it once complete. I am obsessed.

The writing style is honestly a bit weird, I don't hate it though. It is a bit cringe... it goes into the mind of a high school girl a bit too well haha. He is going to die, isn't he.

I’m not captivated by the story at this point, I find it a bit boring. However I think I like Asar. I have a grudge against broody male main characters but I think he is just grumpy not broody and it’s honestly in a really endearing way. This is definitely grumpy, sunshine and it’s done well in my opinion. I also like that there isn’t the typical annoying hate-lust. She is just starting to notice that he feels safe.

I like it… not sure if I love it yet.
