I thought I'd kick the year off in a good way - the title begs for it to be read.

Not easy reading. But I'll keep going. Maybe audio might be better as there is a lot of sarcasm which if not read properly, you may miss.

Audio. Really enjoying to hear more from this wonderful author and narrator. If you like 'Maybe in Another Life' or 'Forever, Interrupted, ' then you'll like this.

I don't know how this can possibly end well though. And maybe it won't, but I'd like to think that it will still somehow make you think that it does.

Cool cover. Worth a spot on the bookshelf just for that ha ha. And who doesn't like the beach. I don't know what a beach read is, but I do like reads with anything about a beach. Tick.

DNF Too hard to read. It was painful. An Audio would be better. Maybe I'm used to more modern writing styles.

Should be called A Pompous Gentleman in Moscow. 3hrs thru audio and not liking. Old and foreign and boring. Might be one you need to read instead.

When I hear Tara Sands voice narrating the audio book I already know that I'm going to like it.

I think I'm gonna wanna listen to this again. Not because it's hard to understand but to enjoy again and take note of all the interesting observations and words of wisdom.

Audio. Intriguing and relatable. There's more characters and storylines than you can count on your fingers, unsurprising from a LM novel. That's ok if you can keep up with it. Perhaps perfect for a long drive such as what I'm doing.
