I can’t make myself enjoy this book because the main character reminds me of a coworker I loath and I keep visualizing the guy as Dylan O’Brien who does nothing for me. I wish I was reading People We Meet on Vacation instead.

I don’t like reading about a character who has my job. I don’t want to hear about work when I’m not at work. Library business stays at the library.

Mackenzie is forming an opinion on this still.

This book is genuinely schooling me. I used to make fun of people who read popular books of this ilk and look at me. I’m eating my own words.

Apparently me being spotted reading girl on girl romance is a big scandal. Nobody knows the real me tsk tsk tsk.

I think this girl might be skinny and hot? Idk I wish she would mention it more.

The only copy I had on hand was my Dad’s signed copy and that Anthony Bourdain fanboy about had a heart attack when he found out that I touched his beloved treasure. I have to pause my reading and find another copy. :(
