You know when you start a book, get to page 3/5 and immediately think yes this is going to be a spectacular book… this is it.

This is an epic romantasy filled with celestial lore to die for!! The celestial lore has had me hooked. How could you not be when the title foreshadows the future 👀 A truly thrilling plot!

And lastly the Bishop 😋 my days I need to meet that man

Emm so I’m shook. Shocked. Shookethhh 🙌🏻

I still loved Emily Coopers writing. You cannot fault it - the most beautiful descriptive book. I’m both horrified at what’s going on but equally fascinated 🤣

The pacing has definitely ebbed and flowed for me. The beginning was unbelievable, then it slowed and now wow! Emily has packed a punch in the second half of this book 🤭 LOVE IT!

Okay Wow so much has happened.

Firstly Emily Cooper is my Queen 🙌🏻 secondly, this plot is INSANEEE haha 🤣

Am I shamefully judging our main character like I would do a better job…. Yes I am.
Also I just want to preface I won’t be going near the ocean at night any time soon 🙂‍↕️

Wow so those are some plot twists I did NOT see coming! I had my head in my hands for about 60% of the second half of this book that is how shook I am.

The power held in this story’s secrets is insane! It packs an unbelievable punch. The intricate unveiling of every secret and character dynamic has been my number one favourite thing in this book! Incredibly good!!!

I am unwell! The wedding 🤭 Omg that was amazing!

The love hate relationship has me in a chokehold!
Also let’s talk the possibility of he falls first… EEEK! omg I love it!! The possessiveness 🤭 It’s giving touch her and die and I’m so here for it!🥹

I have officially found another book to add to your ‘it will keep you up all night list’ because OH MY GOD I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN!!!

This is the best dark Romantasy I’ve read in such a long time! And so far it has been executed so well!
I love how character driven it is but equally I love how the plot does NOT get lost in that sound.
I am quite literally on the edge of my seat!!!!
1 word… Obsessed!

This book is everything!!!

It hits exactly as described, and is absolutely perfect for fans of T Kingfisher!

Explain to me why I want to be a part of this book 👀 I need more of the turns and twists in this book! They are the absolute best. I literally find myself squealing and kicking my feet at them🤭

And MMC, Nic, I LOVE HIM 🙌🏻🙌🏻

I am adoring Grace’s writing! It’s the perfect balance of adventure, thriller with a dash of spook, work place rivals, forced proximity and a lot of sass/banter 🙌🏻

I gasped about a 1000 times last night! Physically could not tear my eyes away from the pages

The spook level was amazing! I can’t believe this a debut! I need the second book already and I’ve not even finished it!!!

Things are really starting to get going now and I love it!!! It’s been a slow start in my opinion but I’ve actually REALLY enjoyed that. There’s a lot of characters to familiarise yourself with and I think if it weren’t for that time my brain would be mush…

I adore the dual POVs in this and I can’t wait for them to align! And don’t even get me started on the female rage 😆 I LOVE IT!!

HANNAH KANER’S WRITING IS ABSOLUTELY INSANEEE! this is so fast paced, action packed, dual pov and I’m sat 🙂‍↕️🙌🏻

What an utterly heartbreaking twist I was not expecting! (Absolutely brilliant but heartbreaking)

WHAT IS IN THIS BOOK! 😱 I’m loving Steelborn so much. From the plot to the characters to Taylor’s writing!
It’s fun, witty but has emotional values deeply embedded as well.
I just know it’s going to absolutely break my heart.
At one point I did think I was going to cry… but it’s fine because what I thought would happen didn’t *phew 🥹

So it’s very safe to say that I’m OBSESSED! Completely and utterly obsessed!
In love with our main character Reya! She is giving such Celaena Sardothien vibes and I’m so here for it 👏🏻😆

Now this is what I call an epic fantasy!
One word, wow! 😮

Really enjoying this so far! Such a fun plot line. Very easy to follow.
Not too sure on the romance side of this however. But we will see!
