Paused it for a while but have resumed. Listening to the audiobook. Sounds like it will be an interesting, complex story.

Best thriller I've read in years. Almost done and don't want to be.

At 164 pages in, that's it, I'm done. I don't have the patience for pages and pages of endless detail. I loved The Secret History. But The Goldfinch? We're done with each other.

I'm committed to getting through this but what a slog! So much detail, so little story, thus far.
