I hate this experience , but I refuse to dnf

This reminds me of Sally Rooney , but in a bad way 🙂‍↕️

I just wanna say that this book makes me snore but I have to finish it I'm sorry 😭. The concept is interesting , however , between the back and forth in time period and generally poor characterization , it dampens its initial conceptual intrigue.

I'm only trying to finish because I don't wanna dnf 2 books in a row. Subjecting myself to this novel though, has been an act of self hatred atp .
