So, until now, everything is confusing and it seems like we get bits and pieces from what happened before the narrative. It makes it seem as we are also living and getting to know the situation through the lens of Helena. Trusting the process

So the book starts pretty amazing the scenery is in Florida and the FMC is surfing or running on the beach, stumbles and she runs into a guy Jamie who is the MMC and in that instant moment be falls for him. It’s like love at first sight but she doesn’t communicate her feelings to him. I think this is the moment from which the plot is about to be more interesting.
