And at 72% it says she's leaving as a 17 year old, when she's already had her 18th birthday.
Another continuity problem

Stupid. Three months just to go home and bake for a shower instead of finishing the school term?!

Don't think that is loyalty or love. It is manipulated

She again is obsessing over her sister's pregnancy and that she should be there.
I understand that family is important, but also her training, and she, for the second time, allows that emotionally charged feeling to impact her performance in the kitchen.

Is it because they have always looked to her to be their cook/housekeeper because that's how she was working through grief?

So, it mentions their first kiss, and yet, before she even went to Paris, it briefly mentioned one.

Did the author really throw paragraphs into a hat and pick some out, without care to continuity? This is seriously strange.

And, she comes home for a visit hust to be their catering service?
And she's only still a teenager (possibly 16?)

Continuity is still somewhat questionable at times.

I am sure a few phone calls back, Sophie was expecting twins, and now she's just begun dating

For a fourteen year old in school, she certainly can accomplish an awful lot single handedly.
And, I suppose all her start up materials were from her grandmother's pantry.

Just as a note: there is no way to offer gluten free items when the regular flour is flying around coating everything. It would result in cross contamination.

The book might have been shortened by not having so many repetitive sentences or paragraphs (and I am only 9% in)
