I don’t mind UK terminology, but wonder at mixing it with US terminology (elevator/lift).

Seems to be a combination of UK and US terminology (lift,jumper ….)

Plural words do not require apostrophes

I like dry, intellectually speaking humour that others may not even comprehend. I don’t need slapstick; I like subtle.

She has planned to infiltrate his domain for years as revenge for her family’s deaths.

He hunts out her background and discovers truth that neither of them knew. In the midst of everything, a mole in his organization leads a rival to kidnap her.

The truth is painful, but it leaves them with only each other to trust.

She’s someone who has lived a sheltered life.
She doesn’t seem to have a clue about how to behave in the real world.
If there’s a rule, she wants to break it, without considering the consequences.
She’s shallow. Doesn’t seem to have life skills. Throws herself at men for sport.
