When Jack was in love he didnt understand the warning Madeleine gave him. But the reality is that "Do not fall in love" was a warning for the pain that love can give. Because that pain sometimes feels like dying but the joy that love can give feels like heaven and his clock heart was working so well during "the honeymoon phase".

I love how there are so many metaphors about Jack's clock related to the world and life changing around him. Kinda making it react in a visual way to what he feels.

Is it more scary dying or being in love? How can a beautiful thing be worse than being chased by a killer?

So... Yeah about reading this slowly....

Anyway I'm crying, I'm feeling so much about this and I can't stop, this is masochism and maybe also wanting to ignore all the thoughts my brain could create if I stop now

this will be indeed a long game cuz this is so heavy from a mental health point of view - and it's also my fault for ignoring the fact it could trigger me - but damn i will read this so slowly

I read of people that found the book boring compared to the series. I completely disagree. The series is awesome, but of course it's a completely different medium. I can't really compare them, but it's so nice to read more details and being able to say "oh so that's what was in their mind" or "oh so that's how this hockey thing works".
Naturally there are differences from the series, but I am enjoying it so far.

Why the reading of the fifth book starts with Percy flirting with another girl? like omg Percy why are you a stupid 16 yo boy

And this is the end of the 4th book... Well I don't know if it's because i didn't read it in a single day, but i feel like this book was a bit lower than the others. Even if it was as always able to capture me and my brain. I'd read these books all day to be honest.

Now it's time to prepare for the final book of the saga, i have some hypothesis on what will happen and i can't wait for read more about it.

I can't believe i finished also the third book... I was so excited and i was so hypefocused in this
I love trying to guess what the prophecy means before you know the end and then being something different than what you thought.

Of course i'm already guessing what will happen next and can't wait to read it!

So.. this is the end of the second book... i got chills and kinda emotional for the end tbh, even if i kinda managed to almost spoiler myself this end LOL

I kinda can't wait to read the next book
