So far I’m enjoying the novella (within this book 1) a lot more than so far. It just seems like Rachel and Jake are kinda different from when I first read about them in “That One Night”… I’m still enjoying it but it seems like a massive book for what’s kinda going on? Like the book could’ve been shorter I guess ??

I LOVE background knowledge and story telling. I find it so inspiring seeing how Skaay came about his storytelling and poetry.

So far I’m really enjoying the book and I can I can picture it so well. I like how there’s so far not too many characters to have to recall and it’s very fascinating to “live” in this era through a book.

In many ways I relate to the book quite closely. I can imagine characters and how the storyline goes but it also feels very predictable and things are lingered. It’s really nice however seeing the representation in the book and though it’s not particularly as “spicy” than the other books, it all has a place. Maybe to me this books hits so close that I have a hard time because I read to escape reality? Idk

First, Connor McKinnon…. You piss me the F off. Go home you POS. Second, Rory is good in so many ways and he’s very misunderstood I think. Third, these two (Hazel and Rory) have been so cute… I just can’t folx

I actually fell so bad for Rory. It’s parents like that that ruin and cause so much traumaaaaa! Omg 🥺

I have a feeling that although I was really excited about this book that I might actually love the first book more. BUT! I’m still keeping my mind open because this “hard to get” romance always keeps me on my toes

I literally was screaming at my book for the last 130 pages “just effing kiss her already, make her your girlfriend already” and honestly Pippa and Jamie at that party got me like 😏… take that Zach. That’s what you lost idiot. 😂

I honestly already love Pippa. She sounds like a sweetie. I kinda feel bad for how harsh Jamie is. Like why do most boys always have this facade that they don’t care at all but act as if they’re pissed off or the girl did something to deserve it. Tsk tsk Jamie, get better for the love of god…
