I'm not sure if I'm going to finish it. I really want to know what happens but I also don't care? There are these huge, drawn out battles and a lot of talking and I wish we were just following Darrow, or maybe just Darrow and one other. I struggled through Iron Gold, and I hardly remember anything that happened. It makes me a little sad, because 1-3 had such -magic- and impact and 4-5 just don't feel the same.

I'm on the fence about this book. It's written well enough to keep me interested, but I also kinda don't care what happens. It has some strong characters, and I like Lada's fierceness, but this book has a small pacing problem.
I'll finish it but I'm not sure if I'll read the others.
