Ex-Mas Feast enlightens you on children in Africa live. It’s heartbreaking and the things they’re exposed to by their own parents makes their situations even worse. I’m mad it’s a short story because I would love to see a happy ending for the kids.

I’m filled with emotions like I’m the one who had to leave my best friend/soul mate/forever partner. I’m hoping the ending brings them back together forever. & Meatball being in the picture now is so fitting. Cutler needed an animal to distract his loneliness

Britani?? A mess! I’m glad the Langford’s are out the way! I’m team Gracie and Cutler! I love their relationship, and the relationship with each other’s family & friends. I feel like this what it means to have “your person” right under you the whole time

Gracie & Cutler need to stop playing around and make it official. I couldn’t imagine suppressing such intense emotions like that. I’m hoping Melody, Cutler’s cousin, can help them navigate their feelings towards each other, since she just exposed his deep feelings towards relationships and how they’re rooted in his mothers

Cudjo speaks about wanting to go back home after being freed from slavery, and that reminds me about how sometimes we have to let the past be the past and make the best of what we have to move forward.

Also, your own people will cross you out for the right price, not knowing they can be in the same predicament.

It’s interesting to read about how Africa handled their crimes. I wouldn’t mind if the U.S adopted the same traditions, and then maybe we wouldn’t have so many senseless crimes

Very interesting how other countries handle crimes. I wouldn’t mind if the U.S followed suit, and then maybe we wouldn’t have so many senseless murders

I’m ready to see how this ends now. I’m hoping Pheby, Essex, and all the children are granted their freedom or escape with no trace.
