I really liked the set up of this book. Working to find a long lost sister with a serial killer on death row as a client...what could go wrong? The middle of the book was a bit tedious as there was, maybe, a little too much to explain about the island compound and why it existed and who all the people were. It felt like things stumbled for a while. However, and thankfully, Gardiner finds her stride for a good finish
