i have 13 days to read this before the new screen adaptation……… wish me luck !

i started this during exam season (not a good idea) because i ended up being occupied with everything else so here i finally am, attempting to finish it

one of my favourite moments of this book is when eurycleia recognises odysseus by his feet

now i actually understand the opinions post-nolan’s odyssey. the “noman” scene being ignored alongside the character of hermes. wish we could’ve seen those visualised.

there’s so much depth to the book compared to the film adaptation (which is the same for every book to film). i get the metaphorical messages in the visuals but there’s something about the original media that makes me feel like i’m knowing the characters more and have time to process the relationships between them

i’m up frying my brain
