I am feeling things i did not expect to feel. I cant hate any characters i’ve hated before. Humanity is complexe

I had to shut down the book after what frank was saying & his monologue during the fight scene about his drinking habits. I dont even know what to say.

I am LOVING the writing style, especially the small stories the mc would tell. My fav was the one about “perfection”. I have just started the fifth chapter, which is when we meet Melanie for the first time. I cant wait to see the shift in the story :)

Interesting so far, i like the writing style and the fact that it seems very detailed. Im not sure if this is an autobiography since i like to delve into books blind.

Ngl i thought grams was getting a bit schizo, i started wondering if this was a whole mental thing and the book was gonna end with her in a psych ward. BUT at the end of chapter 4 things got a lil creepy. Also. Chapters too long bro. Interesting book.

Interestinf so far. Love that the mc is a 72yo woman with a dog :) so cute

Okay how do i even cram everything that js happened. Again, she’s so unpredictable. It did seem she was getting slightly better while she was with patrick, yet she also loved the comfort of the stability at George’s. But the stability also made her lose her mind. Now that she has none, no george or patrick AND her parents got a divorce… it feels like she has nowhere to go and nothing to hope for… lawd.

Okay. So many things happened. She’s so unpredictable it makes me addicted. I wanna see what she’ll do next, who she’ll pick. Is she gonna go back to her old self or sulk even more? Now she’s somewhere in between. God. So STRESSFUL I LOVE IT.

I love this. So raw. I’m so emotionally attached to her, cant wait to see how she deals with her depression or if she will even acknowledge it. Also George seems to be quite an interesting guy, hope nothing bad happens.

So interesting so far. Im hoping the granny gets mentioned more, the sad empty funeral they held for her broke my heart. Nice to know she left money for our mc. Tho i am suspecting smth’s off with the mc.
