read chapter 9 while I was smoking my za, I felt like I was actually in the book. [SPOILER WARNING] when Kafka was regaining consciousness it was written in a way that made me feel like I was being introduced to a new character. But as me and Kafka recollected our thoughts we both realized what the hell was going on. Democracy Manifest.

Loving this for the most part, excited to read about more of the characters stories. I still need to dig deeper to make an attempt to fuller understand Zhang’s writing
