I see why this book has so many accolades. I’m only 1/8 through the book and I’m fully invested. The character’s are beautifully written, the setting is very well done; when I’m reading I can fully envision myself in the story. For being such an extensive book I assumed the story would move slow but the pacing is wonderful. Very pleased so far.

The longest it has taken me to finish a Pierce Brown book. The switch in story-telling from a single perspective to four different ones really throws me off. Keeping track of settings and character names is a lot of four different characters in four different areas of the story.
