Halloweekend 2026 Week 1 || Prompt: BIPOC Author

Have had this on the TBR for quite a while! Am very excited for this one!

Halloweekend 2026 || Prompt: Anticipated Read
Format: e-book [KU]

As of the 50% mark... not much has happened but I'm still enjoying the read. I have a small worry that the book is going to be very straightforward, no big twist or anything, it's just going to be what it says on the tin... We shall see!

James Cassidy…!? Sir!? This man said “Yes?” all seductive like and had me barking??? That’s not fairrrr!!!

Readathon Rebellion 2026 || Read a Book With a Gorgeous Cover

I have the special edition from Beastly Tales which thankfully I do since apparently this book has disappeared from time and space. Quite the perfect example as to why collecting physical media is important.

These two are so cute; it did go a little insta-love but I really like their chemistry

Readathon Rebellion 2026 || Do a Poll Pick (Tied With Willing Prey, Mel Had to Tie Breaker!)
Format: Audiobook (Libby)

I've heard mixed things but I am usually the one that likes the cheesy cozy romances so I have high hopes!

This book takes the other partner not believing to a laughable degree.

Goldfish Funeral… I will never recover 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Readathon Rebellion || Prompt: A Book With Parts

This is what I get for falling behind and not being able to spare two/three days for a read! So many book box editions had parts but the audiobooks were so long! Remembered The Housemaid had parts so started perusing Freida's backlist and found this! Should be a speedy read!

Readathon Rebellion || Prompt: Read a Book In One Sitting

Grabbed the shortest book on my audible. Ready to turn my brain off and listen to Shane East be filthy in my ears!

Why do they just keep falling for the Heirs’ tricks… Give me back Professor Orion…

A professor with mind control powers… uh oh 😳😳😳

Readathon Rebellion: A book with an action word in the title.

God I struggled with this prompt so hard. I never know what an action word is XD. Consulted my roommate who has an English degree and she said I could count it! I’ve had this out from the library for weeks and nothing ever fits the manga I got to give me something quick and easy!!

Readathon Rebellion: Read a Book With an Animal on the Cover!

Pre-Read: Have been interested in this title on and off and my Libby had this available and I needed something shorter!

Teddy Hamilton always sounds like he is annoyed with everything… it’s a little distracting. But Savannah is a treat. I could listen to her for hours.

Readathon Rebellion 2026: Prompt - Intimidating Read

Listen. I gave Wild Love 6 stars and have bought three different special edition sets of Elsie Silver assuming she was a new autobuy author and haven’t read any because I’m now scared lol. I have 0 reason to think any of that but I am spooked none the less.

Readathon Rebellion: Read a Book Off Your Owned TBR (Audible counts... right? hehe)

Rounding off the Trilogy real quick like!

Readathon Rebellion: Read a Book With a Dark Cover

Corvin King my love I need a fast brain off book after struggling to read this last week. Talk to me!

Thanks Sophie; I didn’t need my heart anyway!!

Guys… I kind of hate this book… like… a lot. 🥹🥹🥹

I’m torn. I have heard a lot of not fantastic things about this first book and I think it’s affected how I feel about it because I think so far it’s fine and I’m not experiencing the same issues others have and it’s like I’m constantly waiting for it to get… worse…? Idk. I’m vibing.

I am enjoying this but sadly I wasn’t able to finish it in time before September and all my crazy readathons start. I will pick this back up when it fits a prompt or first thing in October!

Oh, you came for my heart? Go ahead and take it, I don’t want it anyway 😭😭😭

My mind is swimming with theories about what happened to Paloma… I have had the same theories since book 1… I’m a scared…

I love them your honor

I am literally just reading the rest of this book so I can give it the 5 stars it deserves. Ro or Matt would have to fall off a cliff at the end to make this book 4 stars I stg

Your honor I love them too

I just… I love them so much and I love the other characters so much and I’m just gonna binge the rest of these books right now I’m on my way to the beach and I am just gonna be inside like stay away from me and my book hoard!!!
