So far unexpected, deep, and holding my interest

I should have dug into this one a little more before I started it. Did not realize how long it was, not that long is bad. The problem with this one being long is so far all it is endless pain/loss/distress and we are on chapter 7, I am ready to get to the story please

I am enjoying this book so far.

The atmosphere of this book is much different than I thought it was going to be

Just getting start and it is much different writing than I am used to. Interesting even if a little different

Reminds me of Butcher and Blackbird

I don’t know if it’s just the pace seems slow or there is just such a heavy subject right at the beginning but it kinda feels like this book is dragging so far.

It was going pretty good and has taken an unexpected turn that doesn’t really fit in, not really enjoying this turn. Gonna see if it has gotten better.

Waiting on the twist to see what I missed! I know there has to be something, I have a feeling it’s coming because none of her novels are straight forward. I have really enjoyed so far.
