Never in my life would I believe how drawn I am to a romance book, yet here I am, with my heart curious to read sentence after sentence.

Literally had my heart RACING and my mouth GASPING at every single word on the page.

Okay, I definitely misinterpreted the book firsthand, and I've found to absolutely find myself liking it. So glad I decided to continue. I feel some sort of emotion and understanding for both characters, and this dual perspective is not at all as difficult as I thought it would be. I only partially dislike the wild dog Bernie.

Can the dogs stop 💔

'Love is a crime when you love one person at the expense of the whole world. Of this crime he had become hopelessly guilty. He wondered if love would exonerate him in the end.'

+ Thaddeus made me sad.

'We are sharing this grave together. And you are carrying a burden, the burden of guarding me in this grave. I carry no burden. I'm free, but you are not. I'm free in this grave.'

'You are not free, and that's why I'm guarding you. Attempt to escape if you think you are free.'

'Free men don't escape. I'm free, so I do not need to escape. It is you who needs to escape. Try and leave this grave if you can.'

"It is so hard to leave—until you leave."

I almost cried, but oh man, I've finished part two, and the anticipation in my heart has me so excited for part three!

I'm beginning to understand Quentin's obsession with Margo, but then again, I feel as though he is neglecting, not only himself but those around him, for a girl that only really talked to him once. There was a passage in the book, quoted from another, that I felt hinted at Quentin just how obsessive he was over Margo. Oh, Radar is really holding the group together.

"I missed her I missed her I missed her I miss her."

Honestly, I just finished part one and I'm starting to get into the main plot of the book, and it is SO GOOD! The ending of part one lowkey almost made me sob when Q and Margo were dancing. So far though, the book has me hooked and I've found myself wanting to come back and read it almost every single day. Might be the beginning of my reading era...
