So good!

This one is keeping up reading in the wee hours of the night. No one writes a spooky gothic dual timeline with a clean romance and inspirational undertones quite like Jaime Jo Wright!

Very good as usual! Some mystery, subtle romance vibes, friendships formed, many secrets uncovered.

Good first story set in another of Washington's National Parks--the North Cascades and Lake Quinalt near Olympic NP. Plenty of action and suspenseful moments, interspersed with clean romance. This pair had a history from another book, so they pick up the pieces and get a second chance to forgive and move on. 4.5 stars

Excellent read with heart-tugging characters, especially the younger children. This author really knows how to integrate spiritual truths with the character's dilemmas in realistic ways. She knows how to get inside their head and show their perspective too. Love the character of Uncle Scotty.

Started this one last night and it kept me up for awhile. :) It is set in 1901,
England, Northumberland area. Reminds me of Dicken's Bleak House with interesting characters and a similar plot. Kind of gothic but not too dark. A good Autumn read!

All enjoyable cozy mysteries so far. The 3rd one is on a chicken farm with multiple suspects. All of them are written from the main character's point of view. A hint of romance too.

Finished the first 2 stories in this fun cozy mystery collection, and both were good! The first is set on a hog farm with multiple suspects and a little bit of romance too. I especially enjoyed the second one set on a Wisconsin dairy farm. Well done.

Wow, impressed with the characters, plot and writing of this story. Pulled me in from the start. Wondering what direction it will go. Reminds me a little of a cross between Jamaica Inn and Jane Eyre, if that's possible.

Enjoying this one a lot. :) Better than a Hallmark movie, for sure.

A lot more depth to this story than it seemed at the start. Many good moments of faith interspersed with prayers in times of need, and seeking guidance. Love Grammie and litttle Thomas.

Loving this so far! It is like an American version of Pride and Prejudice set in the early 1900's in a coal mining town. Very cleverly done.

Incredible women and what they achieved was amazing. Sad what they had to deal with though.

Wow, quite a story. Reminds me of Sean Dietrich, Katie Powner, and Lisa Wingate with grit.
