Oh. My. God. Literally every single person in this book except for the MC is awful. Every single one of the MC’s friends is awful. The homophobia is just…beyond. Please someone tell me it gets better - I feel ill 🤢.

This is probably some weird parasocial shit, but after travelling for a month, I’m back to reading everyone’s GR updates daily and I legitimately missed you guys.

Don’t get me wrong, I am loving this book so far, but part of the love interest’s (a mobster) plan to keep our MC ‘safe’ is having our innocent MC sell HEROIN over-the-counter at his cafe job.
