I totally wrote off this book in middle school because the title gave me the ick… time for a second chance LOLOL

This is going to be 5 stars I can feel it

idk why but this has been a very slow read so far!

the descriptions of middle platonism’s influence on / intersections w gnostic heresies were cool.

note to self: agonistic rhetorical styles were de rigueur in the ancient world!
