Loving the story just exhausted at the end of the day, so progress is slower than desired.

Despite the well written stories, 500 pages of death and despair is getting to me. Hard to start the next story knowing everyone will surely die.

I don't get it so far. It's poorly written, repetition of the same facts, and, so far, very predictable. So what explains the high rating and interest???

A bizarre beginning but the pace is slowing down thru the middle.

Un peu tranquille comme début mais comme c'est le premier tôme d'une série, je m'y attendais.

Ce que j'aime de cette série c'est l'intégration historique. Avec la ville de Berlin qui est divisée en 4 zones, et les changements quotidiens entre l'est et l'ouest, je suis très heureux avec ma lecture.

63% into this novel and I still have no idea what the plot is. It's like reading the beautifully written diary of someone who has nothing interesting to share. 250 pages of recollections from a protagonist who is neither likeable nor detestable.

A little bit Dan Brown/ a little Michael Crichton with some dated references within.

Mindless summer read. A precursor to Dan Brown's Robert Langdon series.

Very Crichton: short paragraphs, high tension interspersed with science.
