Good, but still trying to get a handle on this story. I've found myself zoning out a few times already and having to rewind the audiobook and bit to really pay attention

Fell into this story faster than I expected

Rereading because I'm peer-pressured. But I might dislike it even more than the first time around. How can one character complain this much?

Just over an hour left to listen... why do I feel like I'm going to be heartbroken?

Almost DNF after the first hour of listening, but I'm glad I'm still going - I've still no idea what direction this is heading, but I'm growing more attached to the main character in each chapter of her life

Nearly eight hours in, and still over 11 hours to go.... one revelation after another, and I'm so glad to be learning

I clearly had no idea what this book was about when I first started it, but I'm like it!

Quick note to say that im glad the author was extremely direct in supporting LGBTQIA+ people, specifically trans and nonbinary! There were some comments in the first book that gave me the ick, but clearly the author has learned

Started listening since a few of my students have enjoyed it, and I am liking it way more than I expected! Engaging story even if I don't know all the 80s references

Good story so far, but getting really bothered by every piece of dialogue having a tag of "I said," "he said," etc.

Still loving it, still have no idea where it's all going

Haven't read this in a decade, but i randomly picked it from my shelf while my child had a rare moment of independent play. I got three pages in before he noticed i wasn't fully invested in his dinosaurs, but it was enough to love the story again.

Where has this gem been hiding?? Started because no other reserved audiobook was available yet on Libby, and this randomly came up on an "available now" list. Loving it!

Keep speeding up the audiobook so it ends faster 😮‍💨

Why is there still nearly SEVEN HOURS left to this book?? This could have ended like three separate times in this so far.

Why is Lor still the most annoying of the entire cast of characters? Everyone else, fantastic

Started off strong, but it is becoming repetitive as it continues. This should be close to finishing at this point, and it still has three hours left to listen on the audiobook

Definitely better that the first book, but some chunks of this is so repetitive. Giving Violet in Iron Flame vibes

Almost gave up, but switched to speeding up the audiobook instead. The FMC has no personality other than sarcasm and clumsiness. Everyone else is a walking stereotype.

Good story still, but female narrator hasn't gotten any better. Doesn't help that I don't trust the main love interest for even a minute....

Interesting story so far, but I really really dislike the female audiobook narrator. Everything she says sounds whiny and takes away from what I feel like should be a strong woman.

Super cute so far. My student is currently reading this, and she keeps squealing at the main characters, so i decided to start it to. I forgot how funny YA books can be, and I miss this kind of comfort read.

The moment Aunt Lidia started speaking, I knew I'd be hooked. Same actress as in the show! Perfection. I'm excited to feel feminist rage.
