If there’s ever a book to audiobook it’s this one!

Wowza we’ve had vampires, werewolves, fish people??? And now even Frankenstein!? 🧟‍♂️

VERY good epic fantasy that takes little before starting off on their death-defying adventure. What if a group of aged former legends team back up for one last hurrah on a quest that damn near promised death?
Monsters and achy joints alike are what stands in the way of this group and their intended endgame.

THIS BOOK IS SO BIZARRE!!! 🤯 (in the BEST way)

The main character is an AI spaceship. Full stop. Not a humanoid figure, but literally a huge hunk of metal transporting people/cargo between planets! And then there’s also somehow werewolves?!?!??!!!

It took some getting used to but now after having finished Part 1, ohhhhh I’m so invested! 🙌💯

I judged a book by its cover and started this one 😏

Having read more than halfway I wish we’d made some headway in this murder mystery. There’s been a whole lotta investigating with barely any results thus far…

(Lowkey I have a suspect that I put my finger on before anything had been revealed. And I’m more than 90% sure it’ll be them.)

Ughhhh the FBI agent and his serial killer girlfriend that he doesn’t realize he’s tracking. Why oh why are these two so deliciously tragic?!? 🥺

A murder-mystery set at Oxford in the 1950’s! So far so good throw in some good old romance brewing between our two leads and BAM! 💥 It’s a recipe for a good time!🤭

The story’s started meandering. I fear we may have lost the plot. The leads are shuttling in and out of all of these irrelevant small towns/destinations. Hell, the ML’s original quest of going to unlock his father seems all but forgotten.

Borderline Stockholm syndrome-vibes as she’s technically his captive, lol. The story’s lighthearted enough that it doesn’t read as abusive though.

Our big “evil” ML’s meet cute with the FL was mid-saving a kitty followed by him giving her BS directions, lol. I can already feel that this’ll be a fun time! 🤭

Slow burn done right! She hates him but damn his cheeky personality’s growing on her, heheh 🤭

The FMC is very spunky. She bites back even when at a disadvantage, but also knows when to bend to her circumstances. Thus far it’s a hella enjoyable book!

This is SO MUCH better than I had thought! I can't tell if this is a fantasy + romantic subplot or romantasy just yet, but either way, verrrrry impressed thus far! I really appreciate that the FMC is described as corpse looking rather than being the typical gorgeous archetype.

Just realized I’ve seen the second book as a movie but not this one, lol. I spent the first 20 chapters thinking that this was the movie I saw. Nope! It was The Da Vinci Code 😂

Historical fiction + thriller excited to be jumping into this really popular series!

This book is so fast-paced and short it’s a blink and you’re already through! Heart-racing tension but VERY heavy topics. Book 2 is a lot more focused on catching a prolific serial killer that’s dropping bodies left & right than any kind of spice between the leads.

I AM FULLY SAT. 😈 This is me supporting a woman’s wrongs! (Though she’s def a psycho with a capital P thus far!)

Finished the first 5 chs. Not sure how to feel about the MC, Prince Auggie. He’s gay but slept with his female best friend who’s obviously in love with him while imagining the ML. Major ick right there. 😵‍💫😤

Officially PISSED at her baby daddy. He’s being soooo wishy washy. I get why as this pregnancy was a complete surprise. But come on dude you’re either in or out!!

The writing? Warm & inviting. The reality of Eve having a baby with a one night stand that cries bcuz of how much he loves his girlfriend… yikes. 😓😓😓

Promise Me Sunshine another book by the same author was 1 of only 2 modern romance novels I gave 5 stars to in 2025! So excited to start another book by her.

REALLY good so far. The FMC is so unapologetically angry. Femme fatale that has a real wolfy bite 🐺😉

Really descriptive with a likable FMC thus far. The werewolf attack happened at the very beginning of the book so it started with a BANG 💥💥💥

This is so insta-lust coded. They’re both just burning to rip each other’s clothes off, lol. Just finished ch 16 & we got a first kiss brimming with more.

I kept waiting for the assassination attempt to happen and it finally did! Not gonna lie, it was worth the wait. High stakes with a heavy personal cost.
