I’m setting this aside & starting the 2nd TMC book tomorrow.

Argh! I started this before realizing this is the third book, not the second one.

Well…1/3 of the way in, I realized that this is a faith-based book. And sometimes, I’m fine with that…but I guess I like knowing it from the start. Unlike Ann Lamott, this feels preachy to me & I feel a bit duped, but I’m soldiering on.

To be clear, I checked this book out because the one I actually was looking for, was already checked-out. I am not specifically looking to “manage unhealthy family relationships”, but Nedra Glover Tawwab can do no wrong in my book, so here we are.

This book is, quite frankly, politically terrifying.
