Listening to this audiobook (only 10 hours) and I had to go and read reviews on the book to make sure I'm not losing my mind.

Istavan is the type of person that Scott Galloway would make assemble as the "missing" man. He has no ambition or drive and thinks just happen to him and he responds "okay".

I had to check if what I was listening too was really a book or some sort of troll.

Lots of plot events are happening to the end where the beginning is a great old set up

The commentary in this book is TOP notch

This book can be long winded but it has these compelling passages where it speaks truth to what it means to be lonely, what it means to be a writer, and what it means to be in love that I find myself mentally highlighting even though I’m listening via Audible.

Feels like jumping through hoops to read this now that I got past Bonds
